Our goal is to make sure you and your pet receive the best care and service we can provide. This includes giving you the confidence that your pets' medications are coming from a safe and trusted source and addressing online prescription requests.
Unfortunately, with the increasing number of online pet pharmacies and prescription requests, we have also seen an increase in problems and mistakes with the prescriptions being filled at third party pharmacies. To ensure your pets' safety and the accuracy of prescriptions being filled, we are implementing a new policy regarding online pharmacies. We are no longer approving prescriptions other then our online pharmacy.
When you need a prescription filled, your options are as follows:
Fill Medications directly at Quarry Hills Animal Hospital: We strive to provide competitive pricing and provide access to manufacturer rebates and guarantees. Request meds through your pet portal. Once you have your profile open, you will see a medication refill request button. Click on that and select the medication you would like filled. once we receive the prescription, approval of the request and turnaround time is usually 24-48 hours. We can mail your prescription directly to you or contact us for after hours pick up.
For Written Prescriptions: If you would prefer a written subscription to submit to your pharmacy of choice, we can provide one which will be mailed to you if you are not currently at QHAH for an appointment. Please note: All prescriptions for controlled substances MUST be picked up in person.
