Dr. Judie Paulauski, DVM - Owner and Founder


Dr. Paulauski received her undergraduate degree in Biology from Suffolk University in Boston, MA and her Doctorate from The Royal Veterinary College in London, England. A special interest in her training included anesthesia and pain management. In her free time, Dr. Paulauski enjoys aquaculture, history, traveling, and spending time with family and friends. Dr. Paulauski shares her home with her English Springer Spaniels Jax and Bo and her two cats Tyler and Teddy.

Dr. Xuan Mai Vo


Dr. Võ is originally from Switzerland, grew up in Lexington, MA and now lives in Arlington. She received both her BS (in biology with minor in Greek archaeology) and her veterinary degree from Tufts University. After completing an internship in equine medicine, she became a small animal veterinarian and is currently a relief vet in the greater Boston area and an Assistant Clinical Professor of anatomy at Tuft's Cummings School of Veterinary Medicine. Dr Võ is also a Certified Veterinary Acupuncturist. She speaks French, English and struggles enthusiastically with Spanish. Besides general practice, Dr Võ has a special interest in shelter medicine, wound management, emergency and disaster preparedness and integrative medicine. Dr. Võ lives with two awesome black cats and on her days off avidly rides her road bike in compensation for not having found the perfect horse (yet).


 


 


 


Dr. Michele Kudisch – DACVS


Dr. Kudisch is a board certified surgeon who will be available by appointment for specialty surgeries.


 


 



Dr. Amanda Leef


Dr. Amanda Leef graduated in 2003 with her DVM from Michigan State University. For the first several years of practice she worked in rural Pennsylvania in mixed animal practice. Currently she primarily works at the Animal Rescue League of Boston as a shelter veterinarian and surgeon in addition to doing relief work. Her career interests are in shelter medicine, soft tissue surgery, pain management, and mixed animal medicine. She shares her home with her husband and his son, as well as her dog Jessie (who you may see hanging out behind the front desk), and her ancient cat Sebastion. On her off time she enjoys rock climbing, swing dance, and anything outdoors.


 


 



Jennifer Reyneske– Practice Manager


Jennifer has been involved in the veterinary business for the past 20 years starting out as a receptionist, she began on the job training as a technician in 1999 where her skills and love for the profession flourished. She enjoys working as a veterinary technician and will be utilized for both her technical and business skills managing the practice to ensure you and your pet get the best possible experience from your visit. Jennifer is passionate about animal welfare, animal adoption and being eco-friendly. Jennifer is striving to make Quarry Hills the 1st 'green' animal hospital in the Boston area. Jennifer lives with her husband, her miniature poodle Tiffany, and her cat Callie.


 


 


 


 



Dominic - Vet Technician


Dominic is the youngest member of the team at Quarry Hills Animal Hospital. He was born in England and is currently attending Eastern Nazarene College, hoping to pursue a career in veterinary medicine. Dominic holds a Veterinary Technician Assistant Certificate. He is on the Board of Directors at the New England Herpetological Society. Dominic has a large collection of reptiles, which now numbers over one hundred, and is constantly growing. He is the co-founder and owner of Xtreme Animals, giving educational shows and birthday parties.


 


 



Kara - Vet Technician


Ever since a young girl Kara has enjoyed the company of her furry four-legged friends. In 2005, while attending school for nursing, Kara realized that helping animals was her true calling. It was then that she changed her career path, and began working as a technician at a local clinic. Six years later, Kara continues helping pets alongside the same doctor she started with - Dr Paulauski. Kara has taken multiple animal medicine courses through Penn Foster. She currently continues to learn and expand her knowledge through continuing education, and is working towards achieving her certification. At home, Kara enjoys spending time with family, friends, and of course her three dogs, Muzbe, Macy, and her newest addition a Westie puppy named Kilroy.


 


 


 


 


Elyssa - Vet Technician  Elyssa grew up on the south shore and has always had a passion for animals, she comes to QHAH with 2 years of experience working with a high volume spay/neuter clinic.  Since her addition to our staff she has shown real growth and maturity in her passion for animal care and is quick to learn all the new techniques and equipment that weren't available to her previously.  Elyssa has a soft spot for animal adoption and encourages anyone looking for a pet to give the shelters a chance to find their new best friend, she has already found a home for the lovely cat she is holding in the picture "Oscar" was found as a stray and now resides with her sister and is loving life!  Elyssa shares her home with a black lab, a Bullmastiff and two cats. 



Rose - Receptionist & Technician Assistant


Rose is a long time animal lover and is just beginning her new career with us at QHAH. Rose spent many years working in hospitality as a hotel ambassador and that friendly outgoing personality makes her a perfect fit to greet and help our clients. We are very happy to have her join our family and she is learning her new position at lightning fast speed! Rose lives with her 2 children Emily and Jeffrey, they have a cat Kiki and a bunny named Kibble. We are certain she will be adding more pets to her home soon since it's proving hard for her to resist all the adorable adoptable kittens coming through our door from the Quincy Animal Shelter for care.


 


 



 


 


Janet -Technician Assistant


Janet is a graduate of UMASS Amherst with a B.S. in animal science and has earned her vet assistant certificate from Massasoit College. Janet's a long time animal lover and caregiver, she always brought home all kinds of injured or stray pets in need of attention. Janet is happily married to husband Ed and has three beautiful children; Ed Jr., Ian and Trisha. Her animal family includes an island dog Rambo. In her spare time she can be found with family and friends, golfing or cheering on the Bruins.


 


 


Gerry - AP/AR


Gerry is QHAH's 'bookie'. Taxes, direct deposit, daily accounting, tracking down rebates: if it has to do with bookkeping she does it. Gerry balances the books and keeps all of our vendors happy. You may see her from time to time sitting behind the desk to help answer phones and wait on customers, while this is not her area of expertise she will certainely make sure that your message gets addressed and replied to in a timely manner. We appreciate the extra help she's able to provide during some of our most busy days. P.S. Gerry is Dr Paulauski and Jennifer's mother.



Jay - Master Craftsman


Jay is QHAH's master of all things requiring a tool belt. There's not a swinging door he can't handle, shelves appear instantly, he dares you to find something that's not level, and pulling out thorny shrubs are no challenge at all. Jay keeps QHAH in pristine working order; everything is perfect which makes us a well oiled business machine.
